Starting January 1, 2018, rider ratings will be based on the rider's running average score from 1 to 50 rides. These ratings apply to all Poker Rodeo sports and 24 rides are required to qualify for riding in the Poker Rodeo World Finals.
Rider ratings in Poker Rodeo may differ significantly when compared to other organizations as Poker Rodeo ratings are based entirely on rider performance, not subjective and often erroneous opinion. These ratings are intended to present a fair field of play for all members. It should also be noted that Poker Rodeo scores result from a variety of necessary skill sets. In addition to riding skills, successful Poker Rodeo riders must also think quickly on the fly, be flexible in their strategy, communicate effectively with teammates, manage the clock, and both see and act on opportunities as they appear.
